Amazing Peach Salsa with a Kick

August 20, 2009 by Monica Nelson Leave a Comment

I whipped this salsa up over the summer just randomly.  It is so unique and all the flavors really go great together. WARNING: It does pack some heat though, so be careful when using a habanero pepper.  For me, it is not too hot, in fact, I find this to be very addictive! What works so well is the “sweet” from the peach balancing out the heat.

NOTE: You could take out the habanero if you do not like heat, you could add more red bell peppers or tomatoes. Serve with chips or veggies!

2 tomatoes, chopped
2 peaches, chopped
1 medium red onion, diced
1 red bell pepper, diced
1 habanero pepper, seeded and diced
fresh lime juice
cilantro
Salt and Pepper to taste

1. Combine all the ingredients in a large bowl and toss together well. Enjoy!
