Wow. Another great holiday treat I came up with on the fly. These could not get any easier. Thanks to store-bought brown rice crispy bars. I find them at Trader Joe’s and they are also only 100 cals. This is great because then they are also already portioned out. Try all my Holiday Moni Treats! <— Many are much lighter. So then I just smoother sunflower seed butter right on over. You could absolutely use any nut butter you fancy though. Then I place on cocoa nibs and my own fancy sprinkles. Takes no time at all. NOTE: You could also just use chocolate chips, mini chocolate chips, and/or use any holiday sprinkle you want. Want an everyday snack? Then just skip the holiday sprinkles!
Kids absolutely love these and what a great alternative to a candy bar!
These are fantastic for gifts. Easy to make, easy to pack, and everyone loves them. Also it is nice to get a very unique gift that is still a better choice as far as health goes. These are lower in sugar, a good source of a “healthy” fat, and the cocao nibs are packed with antioxidants too. That is how I look at it. These are also Gluten-Free for those of you who are on the look out for GF.
