Dark Chocolate Sauce

September 21, 2009 by Monica Nelson Leave a Comment

You have-to have a good chocolate sauce as an indulgent finale to your meal. Plus…have you seen all the crap (preservatives) in some of the store-bought stuff? Well, not for me.  If you have the time, please try this out!  This is no- hassle and Delicious.  Great for entertaining with too. 😉

Also try my Chocolate Sauce.  Enjoy~

Makes 6-8 servings

6 oz finely chopped bittersweet chocolate, Good quality
6 tbs water
2 1/2 tbs sugar
Dash of salt
Plus vanilla ice cream if that is what you are using it for

1. Place chocolate in a large bowl and set aside.

2. Combine water, sugar, and salt in a small sauce pan over med-high heat; bring to a boil, stirring until sugar dissolves. Pour hot sugar mixture over chocolate and stir gently until smooth. Enjoy!
