Healthy Holidays with Pumpkin Spice!
If you have been following along for a while now, then it is no surprise to share that one of my favorite brands is Naked Nutrition. And they have a new flavor this holiday season! So I will get right to it.
Say hello to… PUMPKIN SPICE PROTEIN SHAKE.
The Pumpkin Spice version of this NEW (and limited edition) supplement comes with 20g of protein, all from pea protein, 7g of carbohydrates with 3g of that sugar and a gram of fiber, 3g of fat, and 130 calories. In addition to the delicious taste and with minimal ingredients, it is also soy-free, gluten-free and non GMO. What also impressively separates Naked Nutrition from other brands is the manufacturing process and sourcing the best pea protein you can find which is great for a vegan or plant-based lifestyle.
I appreciate that now there is a very easy way to get our protein in AND still enjoy the holiday flavors we all love. A mega win-win this holiday season. Staying on track is so important this time of year and this is the brand to lean on during these fun but… usually busy days.
NAKED PUMPKIN SPICE IS EXCELLENT BECAUSE:
- Minimal Ingredients
- Vegan
GMO and Soy Free
Pea protein grown on US and Canadian Farms
Tastes delicious and not too sweet
20 grams of protein per serving
No artificial flavors, colors or sweeteners
There are so many ways I like to use this new flavor. I make pumpkin spice protein muffins, pumpkin fudge bites, pumpkin pie smoothies, pumpkin overnight oats, but my favorite is my pumpkin pie yogurt bowl ← with 35 grams of protein. The recipe is below!
Now to the recipe…
Pumpkin Spice Yogurt Bowl with Hazelnuts
This is the recipe to enjoy this holiday. With 35 grams of protein and a hit of healthy fats from the hazelnuts you will be in love. Not to mention it tastes absolutely divine. Great as a breakfast, snack or treat. Can add any other toppings you fancy. I think it tastes best when set in the fridge for at least an hour or more. ENJOY.
Pumpkin Spice Yogurt Bowl with Hazelnuts
Ingredients:
- 1 scoop Naked Pumpkin Spice Protein Shake
- 1 5-6 oz serving of Greek yogurt
- 1 tsp of raw honey, optional
- 1-2 tbsp of hazelnuts, chopped slightly
- Dash of cinnamon
Directions:
In a medium bowl, place in the yogurt and protein. Mix well. Now add the honey if using. Top with hazelnuts, a dash of cinnamon or any other topping you like. Enjoy!
So there you have it and if you prioritize products that don’t have a ton of artificial ingredients or additives, give Naked Nutrition a try. I also recommend this brand to anyone pregnant or breastfeeding as you don’t have to worry about any unnatural ingredients. Personally, when I was pregnant I found myself leaning on Naked Nutrition products and am so thrilled I did!
