With a tittle like this, do I really have to do any convincing...I mean seriously! 😉 What I love about brownies is they are actually very simple to make and pretty hard to mess up. I love how these turn out. They are similar to a cookie bar that are rich and gooey. Yes these are a "Lightened-Up Treats" version; less butter, less sugar, therefore less fat and calories. I have made this with only "white" flour and also I have made this half white flour and half whole-wheat pastry flour. They both turn out super. I am a sucker for coffee and chocolate together and with the small toffee bits I add, this is truly a great brownie.
